North of the city, it's worth taking a stroll down the side of the campus of the University of Texas. The huge buildings, sports stadiums, fraternities, sororities, etc, are all nice to see. And don't miss the store selling objects branded with the classic "Texas longhorn", a white bull's head on an orange background. From T-shirts to bow ties to bottle openers, you'll find plenty of souvenirs here!
