Valea Moeciului

Moeciului Valea is a town found right before reaching Bran, when coming from Bucharest. While Bran receives thousands of tourists every day, attracted by the museum castle "Dracula", Valea moeciului is a very quiet place where you can enjoy nature and good food. The village has a beautiful church and several chapels, painted on the outside and inside, and some made of stone, others of wood. All around, there is a river and woods with designated walking trails. In the village the Vila Casa Moeciu offers clean rooms at 20 euros per night. It is much cheaper than in the resort town of Bran, and it's family-run.
