Valea Prahovei - Prahova Valley

The Prahova Valley extends from Ploiesti to Brasov by the Prahova River Valley and is one of the main tourist areas in Romania because it is well equipped for tourism. It is in a green valley in the central North area of Romania, in the region of Wallachia. Some of the most important cities are located in this valley such as Ploiesti, Sinaia, Rasnov and Brasnov, and there are other picturesque towns and villages as well. Also in this valley are some of the most famous hill stations in Romania such as Busteni, Predeal and Poiana Brasov. It is the the starting point for excursions to the Carpathians.
