U Fleku Brewery and Restaurant
(13)
The U Fleků Brewery and Restaurant has made its own beer since 1499, and by the way it is very good. They have live music in the old style, a good menu and excellent service on top of that. This traditional 'pivovar' is a must, just go and say 'pivo, prosím!' (Beer, please!), And do not forget to try the strudel!

Good food and afriendly atmosphere. Cheka is a tavern, the service is very good and the prices are very reasonable. It is situated near the Parisian street and about 200 meters from the main square. We recommend ordering the goulash or pork roast with sauerkraut. And some good Pilsen, also.

Excellent! We loved this place, and not just for its beer Oldgoff (roasted and macerated in oak 13), and not to mention its exclusive X Beer (the 33rd strongest in the world with sweet notes of honey), ... but also by their typical Czech dishes, where you can enjoy all the flavors and textures of their cuisine. By the way, a tip ... Go straight for the main courses!

For about 35 € two people can eat. I myself ate grilled chicken with raisins and an amaretto dessert. Everything was very good! The place is hidden and it's like a cave but worth a visit if you come to Prague.

Ambiente Lokal

Discovering this restaurant came as a surprise, as years before this site was a small grocery store - we weren't expecting to find a restaurant with such good prices, friendly service and excellent food. The Lokal is an immense dining room, soberly decorated, with separate areas for smokers and non-smokers, and a menu that changes throughout the week to offer fresh, seasonal produce. The only downside for me is the lack of vegetarian options, but that is very common in the Czech Republic, where food is not food without a piece of meat. The have exquisite mashed potatoes with onions, I recommend it 100%, and my mother enjoyed the soup with frankfurter sausages. The desserts are excellent, and the waiters serve you with a smile. At the end of the meal, the bill is lower than you'd expect for the quality of the food. Great!

Cafe Franz Kafka
(1)
In the middle of the Jewish Quarter you will find the famous Café Franz Kafka. Biographers claim that the Czech writer ve gives his name to the cafe didn't drink coffee, although it was a regular to spend evenings in the company of other writers and intellectuals of the time. The Café has a stale air, old decorated and cared for, as is the case with [poi = 82469] Café A Brasileira de Lisboa [/ poi]It is worth making a stop on a day of sightseeing and enjoy a good coffee.

Cafe Savoy

This is a classic cafe that seems frozen in time at the beginning of the last century (there are many such places in Prague). The building is charming, with high ceilings leading up to a small loft with chandeliers. You can have lunch at Café Savoy (hey, it's a little expensive for city standards) but I recommend coming here mid-afternoon to enjoy some of their desserts and cakes. A must in Prague

Gloria Jean's Coffee

After a long tour of Prague, the kind that this beautiful city deserves, we sat down to have a delicious coffee at Gloria Jeans. This Starbucks-style Australian chain boasts a huge array of coffees from around the world, all of varying intensity.

Most visitors to Prague don't come for the cuisine, but to say that you eat badly in this city would be unfair. One of the sites where you can sample the local cuisine at very reasonable prices is this nice restaurant in the Mala Strana district, a few steps from the Vltava River. Actually the restaurant belongs to a chain, but it is still very good. The quality of the food was great, and in fact, the other restaurants in the chain have different menus. Highlights include the sensational beers, sausages (venison, fantastic) and a salmon that is highly recommended and very unusual for Prague. The strudel dessert might well be the best in the city. You can eat for less than 15 €.

Creme Caffe Il Balcone

I dined at this restaurant on my visit to Prague (Czech Republic). It's a small place, serving mainly traditional Czech dishes. The service is good, as is the food. The room decor is harmonious and cozy, and prices are reasonable. It's the kind of place you find by chance as you walk through the city, and in this case, we got lucky. If you're in Prague, give it a go.

U Jindrisske Veze
Greetings travelers. If you want to enjoy an authentic Czech beer at a great price and in a typical really can not miss the "U Jindrisska Veze". It is part of the wide range of bars and restaurants under the sign of "Gambrinus". It is located very near the Powder Tower towards the historic center by the C / Jindrisska, just past the tower that bears the same name. You can taste a typical beer mug cold for less than 1 euro and a half liter of 1.5 euros or so. This is a traditionally decorated restaurant with lots of old frames. Really cozy and great for a stopover during our visit to this beautiful city.

Hard Rock Cafe Prague

In the heart of Prague is the city's branch of the Hard Rock Cafe. In this American bar you can eat typical US food, with a children's menu and huge guitars etc on display. A great restaurant in my opinion.
Culinary Interest in Prague
Viva Praha
This is a special place that is truly well worth commenting on in two aspects. In the first, I will upload photos of the delicious products that are available in this store, located in Prague 1 (this is the center of the Czech Capital Center). Your senses would thank you for your presence in the place, because, passing by outside without entering would be a great sin. A corner is forcandy crafting, which I will comment as I anticipated, in another corner ...

Kavarna Slavia

I went to Prague last October, and the city truly charmed me. The Café Slavia is one of my favorite spots for its beautiful view of the Castle, the Charles Bridge and the Vltava, for its great food, and for its proud literary tradition; Rilke and Kafka frequented it, along with Havel and other Czech dissidents. Their pastries and coffees are excellent. A must if you visit Prague.

Restaurace U Knihovny

A restaurant just steps from Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square, in Staré Město. A nice, clean spot spread over two floors. You can eat well without spending much. Good mixed grill and nice Viennese schnitzel, both served with fries. Smoking area. For a full meal: a main dish of meat, fries, beer and dessert we spent about 350 crowns for two, just over € 7 per person.
Restaurants in Ceský Krumlov
U Dwau Maryji Restaurant
Since Cesky Krumlov is a medieval city, what better place to eat than a restaurant that seems to be magically stuck in medieval times. This is one of those places. Right on the banks of the Vltava river and with enviable views of the castle, this is a wise choice for dinner. It's decorated in medieval style and the renovations have been fully respected its history. And the food, how interesting. You have dinner while imaging a medieval feast full of people drinking, eating and dancing. The food is served in vast quantities and with a delicious flavor so you never forget Cesky Krumlov. You should visit often!

Carmelita

This restaurant was somewhere we had in mind before reaching beautiful Prague, and I didn´t want to skip visiting it since I heard positive criticism in various forums. it was a pizza place with fast service, a welcoming atmosphere and a cuisine that was ery simple but delicious. The pizzas, as Carmelita, are huge and crisp without mixing too many flavors or seasonings, great salads, especially the chicken Involtini. As for the prices, 4 pitchers of beer. a pizza, and a salad totaled 500 crowns, about 23 euros, more than acceptable price. One option to consider.
Restaurants in Chodová Planá
Ve Skale Restaurant
In this special "theme park" of beer in Chodova Plana, the restaurant is a delicious option to regain strength. Moreover, the price of the dishes and, above all beer, is most interesting. The decor is spectacular. In a cave, surrounded by everything to do with the world of beer. But is it also the dishes (typical local) are absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We ate some kind of omelet with potato puree that tasted great. I would definitely return.
