In the heart of old town of Celle is this ice cream shop / café. Here they have typical Italian home-made ice cream, and typical German pastries like apple strudel that can and should be accompanied by some of their ice creams. The menu could be an issue if you're indecisive and greedy.
A candy franchise type found in the commercial gallery of Ernst August, opposite the station. This trade is a paradise for chocolate and anything you can imagine that is made with chocolate (board games, bottles, toys, etc..). The extensive types of chocolate also includes sugar. They also sell little boxes of candy for every mood. It is perfect for a present or gift to bring someone from your visit to the stop.
Stade is a traditional village with a charming story. I was surprised to find somewhere halfway between the traditional, modern and art nouveau. Located in the centre and close to the canal which crosses the city, this restaurant offers a variety of food, mainly German with an innovative twist. The plates are huge, so it's hard to still be hungry afterwards. :)
In the lower passage of this shopping center which joins the railway station and the Hauptbahnhof underground station, you'll find a store specializing in the world of infusions, especially tea. The varieties and sources of the teas are endless and they have everything you need to prepare the tea, such as cups, teapots, strainers, boxes, etc..
The site is great for beers with friends. The food menu is scarce, and not of high quality or variety. Typically German, with pretzels or bread, and onion salad with sausages in different strips, no big deal. Average price. The service is fast, and there is a brewery feel with terrace (crowded). I liked it, but only to go for beers.
It's the best place to have a slice of toast, it's in an ideal place to eat as it has a terrace in a very cute little square, the desserts are also very good but it's best to hang out with your friends there.
This is a place that is close to the university area of Hanover, near Christuskirche. It is affordable and you can see the huge amount of food per plate and each costs about 4.5 € . It has very good beer, and the prices are even cheaper!
The Ankerstuben Restaurant is really fabulous. I love fish and northern Germany is famous for its fish dishes, but I can tell you that was a completely different experience! The restaurant has a different plate of smoked fish with pepper or herbs. Everything is served with black bread and butter. When I tried it for the first time I was pleasantly surprised, it was that good! Very recommendable!
