This restaurant is in Trittenheim about 30 kilometers from Trier and is in a bend of the Moselle. We heard good things about this restaurant and I liked it. On this trip we had a great time, it was October and this day was great and the sun was out. We only had the name of the town where it was, but as we had been told we had views off the road up to the top of the hill above Zummet because we saw that there was a restaurant. In the end this was not the place but we didn´t mind because the views we had were breathtaking and you can see the loop via the Moselle and the area occupied by vineyards. It is worth going to if only to see the scenery. The restaurant is just past the left bridge, and easy to park. They also have rooms. The building is made of classic architecture following the rest of the area but the decor is elegant. As the weather was so good we ate on the terrace with views of the garden where there is a lovely view of the vineyards Trittenheimer Apotheke. It breathed peace and quiet. The menu is not extensive but it is common in this type of restaurants to make elaborate cuisine for quality. It is not cheap but no more expensive than a Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant. Our goal on this trip was to learn about the wine making area and gastronomy so the place was perfect. The service we liked. After we had a walk through the vineyards and back to Trier. If you like good food do not forget to visit this restuarat in Mosela.
