Well located with great views, great food and attention, I can not say anything bad about this restaurant. It is part of a hotel and we were treated well and I wouldn't rule it out on my next visit to Puglia. It is best to choose the menu, because it was very good and although we ordered more drinks and coffee they only charged the base price.
This is a great tavern in the middle of Old Bari, which is accessed by an arc within a narrow courtyard. It has tables outside when the weather is good, a friendly service, and simple, good, local food.
The restaurant "All 'Ombra del Barocco" is a pearl in the center of Lecce. Near to Leece's most illustrious library, the restaurant stands out for its beauty, quality and location. In the shadow of the Church of St. Irene you can sample local dishes cooked in the traditional manner, like the Pignata octopus, Ciceri e Tria, and many more innovative and fresh dishes. There's breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner. It earns points for its wonderful location, friendly staff, and cultural atmosphere that can only be experienced here. Inside, there are more tables for an even more intimate atmosphere.
It is located on the coast next to the beach where, at night, the moon is normally shining in the middle of the beach. You listen to a lot of reggae and eat great. Right next door, there is a hill where you can sit and listen to the concerts every Wednesday in summer.
I was scared at first because there weren't any prices on the door. You check out the inside and it makes you want to stay. Then when you see the menu, you realize that you were right and that the variety is quite acceptable and the prices normal for this area of Italy. Good food and better service. Good wine list.
If you're a little sick of pasta, you can take a break from it at this nice place where the food is good and the service is perfect. I recommend the Moussaka because in this part of Italy, lasagna is not too common to find in restaurants. The Backlabas was a delicious dessert.
