A small cafe that probably serves the best coffee in Queenstown, 100% organic, and is complete with delicatessen and sandwiches that are made by Bob's mother, an odd woman and her clothes and style is very quirky yet utterly charming.

Queenstown is one of the best cities in New Zealand. There is no shortage of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. For those who like pizza, we suggest a visit to Fat Badgers (only open in the evening). The sizes of the pizzas are crazy. I had never seen such large pizzas, the size of a truck wheel! Very good quality, and cheesy pasta, too. Best of all, the price is right. New Zealand isn't the cheapest destination, and any savings that can help you keep your money for the extreme sports have to help :)
This is one of the most popular restaurants in Queenstown, and there are always queues of people lining up to buy their delicious and gigantic burgers for about 6 €. All the types that I've tried, from tropical to pineapple, to lamb, to the Cajun chicken, are all juicy and tender.
It´s located in a house with two floors that have fantastic views over Lake Wakatipu. It´s the typical Irish pub with Guinness and other Irish and Australian or imported beer. The food is also Irish, and of course the music. There are live bands sometimes too.
A small cafe that's always got a huge queue. It's tastefully decorated, and with details like having lemon water free for customers, and a very attentive and friendly service composed of ladies of a certain age. The coffee is very good and they prepare toasted sandwiches which are wonderful.
