This restaurant is ideal to eat well and cheaply. It has a menu Monday through Saturday with a starter, main, drink and dessert. The menu is diverse and there are many dishes to choose from. The price on weekdays is 9.25 € and on Saturdays is 11 €. Now there is also a terrace. Friendly service, super food and very good prices. I'd recommend it, though I could not finish all the dishes as there was so much!
Once out of the metro station "Pep Ventura" on the right, there is a charming bakery/cafe called "La Boulangerie" where you can find all kinds of breads of different sizes, textures and shapes, plus an amazing assortment of homemade pastries and sandwiches. It's nice to get a coffee or have breakfast there, as the tables are wooden and the decor is very traditional and very charming! The service is good too! Whenever I go to Badalona, I love to go for coffee!
My brother and his wife are regulars, here but my mother went for the second time and they remembered her. Laughter and love. The food is good, they know how to cook pasta well, respecting its thousand shapes and textures. And the sauces are stunning. We had a caprese salad and it was the best I've ever tasted. Red and green tomatoes, red onion, basil, good olive oil, salt and sublime smoked mozzarella. A delight for the palate. I don't want to exaggerate so you should try it and tell me what you think. The baked eggplant lasagna was wonderful, with slices of smoked mozzarella, the eggplant slightly undercooked, respecting the flavor of the vegetable. We ordered pesto pasta, vongole, and I, pomodoro, as I thought that if the basics are good, the rest will be. We also had bottle of Aglianico wine and a bottle of still water (I remain abstinent, thankfully). For dessert, the tiramisu, was great, but a little soaked in coffee. We spent 24 € per person.
This is a small tavern, with a wood stove. I've been twice. I've tried the croquettes, of course, and the ones I like most are the roast chicken. In addition, we ordered potatoes in a homemade sauce (made from paprika, vinegar, oil, fish stock and lemon). I like contrasts and the blend of the fat from the chips and the acid in the sauce is addictive. We also ordered 4 sausages (jocariestoygorda). Two spicy, one with extra roquefort cheese and one with goats cheese and onion. All come with that churruscaste bread you see in the picture. I always think, oh, I won't eat it all, but always do. We drank two bottles of wine and some water but couldn't manage dessert. And if I had ordered something else, it would have been another sausage. Haha. But a homemade chocolate cake did catch my eye. I have to go back.
The other day I discovered this restaurant in Badalona and I loved it. Not only does it have an interesting menu, the decor makes it an ideal place for lunch and dinner for something special. It has interesting corners, a kind of courtyard and even the bathrooms are gorgeous. Every detail has been carefully chosen. Also, the service is exquisite! I loved it!
A nice place with very good service and a variety of tea and coffee out of the ordinary. Undoubtedly the best coffee I have ever tasted. The place is decorated beautifully, has a loyal clientele and pleasant music. It is located in the center of Badalona, well served by metro, bus and train.
