5 places to eat in Lake Buena Vista

Restaurants in Lake Buena Vista
Planet Hollywood Orlando
Very typical but interesting to see. No longer an American restaurant of the Hard Rock type, but it's well put together, especially the decor. Situated in Downtown Disney, next to the area of Cirque du Soleil, close to the majority of Disney hotels. In the street, even before going upstairs, there is the typical souvenir shop, but not the only one, because you have just entered and there is another where they sell shirts and merchandise of all kinds. The restaurant is inside a giant globe. It has, as I recall, 3 floors and many tables. In my case I didn´t have to to wait, but they told me that sometimes there are huge lines of people. It is open from 11 am to 1 am, so to avoid "jamming" it is best to go at times that Americans do not eat, as from 3 to have lunch or 11 for dinner. And being inside is crazy, you spend the entire meal staring at the walls and ceiling. All themed around the movies, ranging from the typical costumes of actors and airplanes hanging from the ceiling or buses. There is everything. sometimes there are performances, and the service is fast, the food is very good and the price is good. I think the burgers were about $ 11 or so and are big. The salads were also big, are about 13 or so. Maybe the worst is the excessive noise, as the music is high, and some servers are too friendly (everything is for their tips ...). It also has a small bar open until 2 in the morning to have a cocktail or something quick to snack. But hey, it is a place you can go once and you will not be disappointed. Of course, I can not say how or what the service when crowded.

Musical Hoop-Dee-Doo
As a kid, every time we went to Disney in Orlando, my father booked a dinner at this musical show, where they serve one of my favorite dishes: BBQ Ribs. The last time we went, I remembered every moment, the show is still the same, even though it's been more than 30 years and the food is just as tasty as before. You can drive to Fort Wilderness, or there are free buses that get caught in the center of town of Lake Buena Vista. The type decorated the far west, back in the 19th century, all wood, checkered tablecloths with the colors red and white and clothing imitating the Can Can at the Moulin Rouge, you are transported to the scenes of House on the Prairie. On with the show while you get the food in native iron hubs. A show, typically American, which I love and recommend. Remember that the reservation should be made many months in advance, because they are always full of people.

T-REX Cafe
T-Rex is a dinosaur-themed restaurant so you're mainly going for the environment. Good food and the price isn't bad either.

Cinderella's Royal Table
This restaurant is one of the most sophisticated, popular, and expensive in the entire Disney area. Located inside Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom, the average meal runs about $65.00 per person. The food is very good and you can take pictures with and get autographs from the Princess herself! Cinderella is actually in the lobby and you can take a picture with her and the photo is later delivered to your table (the price of the photo is included in the meal). There are some other princesses that wander around the restaurant, too. Unlike most of the other Disney restaurants, the menu here is a la carte. Given the size and popularity of the place, it's always fully booked. You'll definitely need to make reservations and I'd suggest doing so literally months in advance.

Disney Princess Storybook Dining
Something that has become very popular in the Disney parks are the foods with the animated characters. My niece had the chance to go to the Norway Pavilion at EPCOT, and attended the meal in the restaurant Akershus. My son was still very small, so we had breakfast with Mickey Mouse, as the cost of the meeting the character is around $ 20 per person. During the meal, the Disney princesses appear during the meal and tell stories going through the tables taking photos with the kids and giving autographs. It was a special and unforgettable moment for the princess of my house, my daughter.
