Strange how Berlin has several places where you feel like you are at the beach. Especially when the sun comes out, because there is no wind, temperatures easily climb to 30 degrees, and the people of the city come for a tan. The "beach" is located behind the East Side Gallery, this great piece of wall painted after the fall of the socialist side of the former East Berlin. There are sand chairs, some bars that play music, and shady trees. The place is next to the River Spree, and if not for the red brick bridge Omberbaum, you would not think you were in Berlin. Animated at night with night clubs and concerts in summer.
