Very close to Arenales Beach, this is more looked after. It has bathrooms and, although there's sand, they are not as refined others. The descent to the water is tidier, the trees go down close to the shore. There's also a green area between the shade from the trees and, being along the same road as before, its also got very spacious parking. Annex to the beach, with direct descent to it, is the bar-restaurant, "El Pato".
Of all the "beaches" that can be found in Lake Sanabria, this is perhaps the simplest, but my favorite.. It has more open space and not so far away and close to the mountains as the other ones know. There is sand at the water's edge, like "real" beaches, and vegetation further back. It has ample parking, as the driveway is very wide. In front, there is a snack bar to drink.
Because everyone has the right to spend a beach day in the countryside, this is the only beach that can be found in Lake Sanabria. It is equipped for people with disabilities. Easy accessibility, both in the car park and the beach itself, this is definitely the one with more amenities that meets all needs. Within walking distance of the Arenales and Folgoso there is a children's playground, tables to eat, water slides, toilets and changing rooms. Even during the high season, they have seats in the water for people who want to swim and can not do it on their own.
Out of all the amenities, this is the most popular, both for those carrying small children and older people.
