This is a spot near Zamora with spectacular views. Here the bridge creates a perfect contrast and I recommend looking out along the road. Access to this hidden viewpoint is complicated, but highly recommended.
Around the lake, the mountains hide minimum endless glacial lakes, as Cubillas Lacillo, Cardena, The Fish ... Some of the lakes have been converted into small reservoirs but they continue to be impressive for their environment which is inhabited by deer, bobcats and golden eagles. At the end of the Way of the Horsemen, this is an old paved road that was used by the carriers who took the goods while climbing (oil, wine, honey ...) They took them from southern to northern lands, one of the boldest steps was to Villadepera Pino, as they had to cross the river by boat among the rushes, and many perished in the attempt. If you catch the sunset from the pier, it is very impressive. If we are lucky, we will even surprise the "uuu uuu" the owl or the playful otters in and out of the water. Perhaps it is one of the most spectacular areas of Arribas, located in the vicinity of the old abandoned village chapel Pino. It was originally on a Roman road which reached the cliffs, where the spectacular Cucharero Pizarro cut. If you go a little further south, you can see the cut of Los Pueyos, accessed from Villadepera. Zamora Cottages: Http :/ / www.Toprural.Com/castilla-y-leon/casas-rurales-zamora_bd-es-49.htm
This part of the path is a section of Fornillos of Fermoselle that goes towards Portugal and travels through a landscape of cultivated greenery until it ends, and underneath it is where you'll find the Duero. From this height, the views of the river are stunning, especially at sunset.
