The Museum of History is in a beautiful building that was built in 1901 and once housed the offices of the judiciary and the courts of the county of La Fayette, located in the heart of Lexington, is now the Museum of History of the City of Lexington, in the region of Blue Grass and Kentucky. Previously known as the Children's Museum, in Lexington, the Explorium is a toy library in the centre of the city that begs to be explored. It has various activities about science, art, nature and the environment as well as interactive games and exhibitions. As Lexington is known worldwide for the equine species within the Explorium there is a permanent exhibition to learn about horses.
