Beaches in La Paz
Balandra Beach

Balandra is a beautiful, quiet beach, with crystal clear waters, located a few kilometers from La Paz, in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Baja California Sur is a semi-desert climate rich in exotic flora and fauna, particularly marine life (much of which is in danger of extinction and is protected by Mexican law). Due to its remoteness, it abounds in semi-virgin beaches, where are perfect to get completely get away from the noise of the modern world. Balandra is just one example of these beautiful beaches, and you can relax in its transparent waters surrounded by white sands and great swimming weather all year round. This beach is a small bay with calm waters, surrounded by red rock hills. From the beach, you can glimpse the different tones of the sea, that range from light green to turquoise blue. No matter how far you swim, the floor is always visible as the water is crystal clear here. If you're lucky, you can see low tide, where you can walk up to 500 meters in what would usually be offshore. There are uniquely shaped rock formations, such as the famous conglomerate rock mushroom, a great club balanced on a slender neck of rock. Tourism in Balandra is almost nil, since there is no service except for some palm palapas, at their own initiative, so don't forget to take water and something to eat. It is rumored that they will soon build a hotel there, so visit now! There is nothing more beautiful than the natural. Balandras is a place that truly captivates you. I went there yesterday for the first time and I will definitely go again before the end of the trip. To get to Balandra Beach, take a plane to the city of La Paz, Mexico. Once there, you can rent a car at 60 USD a day, and it's just a 20 minute drive from La Paz towards Pichilingue, the main seaport of the city. Or you can take a 23 peso (1.5 USD) from the tourist bus terminal located on the boardwalk of the city. These leave every hour beginning at 8am. To return, take the bus from where you left between 2.30 and 5.30 pm. Don't miss this beautiful beach!

Enjoy the peace of the pier and sunsets. Here you will find the most spectacular sunsets, the friendliest people and the security of a quiet town where you can still walk at night without fear of being assaulted, I want to share beautiful images taken from the Boardwalk to the city of La Paz, Avenue Bella coastal state capital of Baja California Sur Mexico. Every day of the year I will find a reason to walk down this avenue, from admiring the most spectacular sunsets, meeting friendly people who enjoy life, to wander in total relaxation in a very safe environment.

I went fishing in the morning at 6 am and I took these pictures and this video at dawn with my first fish of the day. There were 30 of the same size. Going fishing is an experience and an addiction.

so 3 cars from here, Monterrey new Leon where I'm from, went racing. La Paz is a good few hours by road. Here are some photographs of the city of Topolobampo Sinaloa, which is where we had to get a ferry to cross over to the city of La Paz. Photos of the race, the ferry, the hotel and great views. I hope you enjoy them. Take care. Oh! You must visit Mexico, especially the lower California peninsula, it is very nice.

That day I remember there was the carnival of La Paz taking place, so I decided to go before it left town, because I never miss the carnival. It was on the Shore Road and it was getting dark so I went to the beach to walk when I realized it was a beautiful afternoon and the sun looked perfect, so I took out my camera and from now on that memory will always be captured in this photo.
