From the nautical center to the staff, it was it a pleasant experience. The kite course has changed my attitude towards sports. The teachers were well prepared and friendly. Being able to enjoy a walk in the wonderful Paddle surf beach of Las Palmerillas was like being in paradise. There is a kind of Algar giant called Posidonia where you can almost touch the bottom with rowing and appreciate that kind of reef. The water is very clear and clean. We were able to attend party, which takes place every month, and where between good music, weather, a healthy environment and sports it was like it was ready for me! Recommended 101%. Greetings and thanks to Team AWA.
I was visiting a friend's house in Roquetas de Mar, I suggested we take a walk in the area around the lighthouse and boardwalk and saw that I could take a picture of the lighthouse and the beach from a tiny dam . I got in the water, the water was a bit choppy and I feared that the camera would get wet but in the end it was worth the risk, this was the only way to capture the beauty of that area of Roquetas de Mar. I also took photographs of people that watched a ship arrive, others were loading a boat in the harbor and a father and son who were fishing calmly on the other rocks that were right in front of my position, and other places that caught my attention.
The place Entinas Sabinar Natural is in the west. It is around 2000 acres of wetlands, dunes, beach and mountain. It is a place that is unknown by many, and neglected by the institutions, and it has great value for its many species of birds that breed here. Well worth the visit to discover the flora and fauna.
The Gran Plaza Mall, the biggest in southern Spain, was opened in the year 2002. There is a supermarket (Eroski) and over a hundred local fashion, home, accessories, food, leisure and hospitality services, spread over 2 floors. It also has 3,000 parking spaces that are covered and and additional 700 that are uncovered. They have wide aisles, a bright interior, interior colors and a lot of thought put into the customer at the center of its features.
The Castle of Santa Ana, also known as Las Roquetas, is a 17th century fortification which for years served as a refuge for the few inhabitants of the municipality residing in the port area. A fire destroyed most of it, leaving only one of the towers that has since been preserved and integrated into the project of recovery of this historic facility, completed in May 2003. Now, the castle has lots of showrooms exhibiting interesting paintings, photographs and sculptures from the local area. Of particular beauty is the courtyard, which hosts concerts and theatrical performances mainly during the summer. I would recommend a visit.
When I need to breathe deeply, to think freely, to talk alone, mourn without prejudice, scream and no one would listen, meditate long as I like, look at the sky dream, sleep by the sea and the stars. I'm not moving from there, I don't want to be rude awakened and wan to hold onto my boundless joy, so here is my modest tribute.
It's nice to walk along the promenade of Roquetas de Mar. It is several kilometers long, not very wide, is fully pedestrianized and runs between the beach and the apartments and hotels that occupy the first line. I especially recommend having a drink in one of the many bars that are on it. Notice: During the day and night there are many vendors.
In the center of Roquetas de Mar, the port is both fishing port and marina with various services, such as fish market, offices, toilets and docks. In 2008 the marina was awarded a blue flag. This port isn't for huge yachts like those moored in Puerto Banus, but the picture is very nice.

It's darling, 13 or 14 euros/person, children are cheaper, but I guess the animals are difficult to keep alive. It is relatively small and they lack typical species, but it is very well fitted and decorated, very clean and safe. They have a pool where you can touch the rays which is very interesting for children and there are times when they feed and that is interesting too.
