Bisbee is a beautiful town, south of Tucson and near the Mexican border. In the 1800s Bisbee was a mining town, mining gold, copper, silver, lead and zinc. It became one of the richest places in the American Old West. Today you can still see the copper mine, but there isn't much left of it. It's a lovely place that is used quite a bit to make films because the streets can pass for many other cities and countries. There are art galleries, souvenir shops and small museums in the lost corners of the narrow streets. Now most people who live here are retired or "hippies". I think of all the towns I have visited in the United States, Bisbee is the one I liked the most.
