The castle is the centerpiece of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It's 57 meters high and it's the tallest structure in the park and was one of the original attractions at the theme park to open in 1971. The castle has a traditional design with a French moat and 18 towers and 13 gargoyles. Stroll down the main corridor of the castle and see the Cinderella story in 5 detailed murals. Cinderella Castle is the ideal location to see Disney characters throughout the day.
Magic Kingdom is one of the first of the Disney parks that opened in Orlando, over 30 years ago. Living in Miami as a child, I was lucky enough to go several times and the last time was 3 years ago when my parents invited their grandchildren to experience this great place. Although the focus is the same, many of the facilities had been updated and improved, including many new attractions. It is a must in Florida to take a trip to Disney World and visit the Magic Kingdom in particular. I cannot do it justice by describing it here so I suggest that you go online to look at the descriptions of the attractions. I recommend it 100%, for both kids and adults.
One of the funniest musical shows that i've seen. The best show of Universal Studios in Florida. Beetlejuice and other classic Universal monsters come together in this lively show. It opened in 1992, both studies have the Universal in Orlando and Hollywood, but right now, it only works in Florida.
Located at the strategic intersection of the famous Miami Beach and downtown Miami, Bayside Marketplace is a great shopping center a few hundred meters from the port. Originally built to accommodate the many visitors who arrived on huge cruise ships, it is now also frequented by locals. We loved the small souvenir shops and the pleasant food court on the first floor, where you can relax while enjoying a breathtaking view of Miami harbor.
Miami Beach is legendary. It is the backdrop of hundreds of films and tv series, and is one of those places that is familiar to everyone. Then, when you are there it´s not so surprising. It's huge, yes. It is also true that there was a storm and probably why the water was a bit dirty ...
Key West is the last island of the so-called Florida Keys and therefore the United States' southernmost point. To commemorate, they have placed a huge colored marker which reads "90 miles from Cuba" in the path of the [poi = 120 015] Key West Bay [/ poi]. The place itself is nothing special, just the marker, but it is a must for all visitors. If you go to Key West, I'm sure you'll end up snapping a photo like most other visitors here. I also recommend the [poi = 120020] Southern Cross Hotel [/ poi] for your stay in Key West.
Where my dreams come true!! American Adventure is my favorite pavilion. I love “Voices of Liberty”. It’s an a cappella group. They sing American folk songs. The best place to enjoy the show is the flow in the red circle
One of the busiest streets in South Beach is Ocean Drive. And it's not only busy but quite eccentric, too! Here you'll find hotels, bars, restaurants and nightclubs, with art deco architecture and neon lights. A popular location in a number of movies, Ocean Drive is often chosen as a holiday destination by celebrities. Walking here, it never ceases to amaze me. I see skaters with sculpted bodies, drivers in quirky cars, bikers in Harley Davidson clothes, dog-walkers, and once ... two people, one with a snake wrapped around his arm and the other with an iguana clutched to his chest! So it's no surprise that you'll often see both professional and amateur camera men trying to capture the craziness of this area on film!
One of the best tourist attractions to be found in the city of Miami is definitely the Art Deco district which is situated on South Beach. It is located very close to the beach where these beautiful pastel-colored houses were built, today it seems that they remain the same way as when they were built. It's nice to walk around the streets and visit the past and the memories of films which have narrated these tremendous stories ... A very cool place.
'Overwhelming' would define the experience of visiting Sea World. Like almost everything in America it's huge, very clean and well maintained. It has some fantastic attractions and an incredible sense of showmanship. For children it's amazing and more often than not, you're left wanting more: the Kraken and Manta, dolphin show, one with lions, etc. The best part? The whale show and Shamu Rocks. I could not stop taking photos.
One of the most famous streets of Miami Beach is Ocean Drive. Walking around there makes you remember scenes from movies or tv series. You have to dodge people because it is always busy ... There are restaurants, bars ... and buildings. The colors are of the "art deco" style. A charming site.
I loved this place, because I am a movie fan. I had a fantastic time. In the park you can buy wands, brooms, capes, Sweet saga, butterbeer, scarves and all the things you see in the movies. There're 3 roller coasters and a flight simulator that's awesome.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is home to some of the most interesting animals in Africa. Walking through the area will give you the opportunity to take a closer look at nests, bones, a colony of hairless mice, African birds, antelopes and more. The journey takes about 20 or 30 minutes. It is located on the edge of the Kilimanjaro Safari. You can also visit a forest in search of gorillas. On the way, you'll walk through a valley full of African hippos, birds and fish of the Nile. You'll go into an aviary full of exotic species and finally you will find a tribe of gorillas which can be seen in their natural habitat. We also liked seeing the prairie dogs.
Miami is a city where there is little to see, it is more for tourists ve want sun and sand. One reason why this city is famous are its malls, such as Sawgrass Mills. The Sawgrass is just outside of Miami in Fort Lauderdale and is one of the largest shopping centers in Florida, with more than 300 establishments. It's an outlet, so you can find clothes at a great price, I have often seen discounts of 90%. A great place for shopaholics - with bars, restaurants and cinemas as well!
A small part of Cuba, in the center of Miami. The truth is that I was a little bit disappointed, I expected more movement and activity. At the moment of truth, there are only Spanish shops, a restaurant .Maybe I overlooked the best part and didn´t realize it.
On the set of a Mediterranean villa, the show includes cars that blow up, stunt motorcycles, vehicles and incredible aquatic pyrotechnics. From beginning to end you'll be open-mouthed at the daredevil driving! Do not miss it at Disney Hollywood Studios.
Miami airport is about half an hour from Miami Beach by taxi or car. It is not very well organized. This is the same for almost all of the country's airports, which are a bit chaotic. Queues are common and it is a little weird. But hey, it does its job and there are places to have a drink while you wait.
