A stunning 5-star hotel located in one of the best areas of Jamaica, in the north called Runaway Bay. The hotel is brand new since and the rooms are all Junior Suites and have almost everything from AC, ceiling fan, minibar that's replenished every other day, safe, telephone and satellite TV. You have a very complete bathroom with bath, shower and toilet closed off from the rest, also with hairdryer and magnifying mirror. The impressive facilities include swimming pools, hot tubs, restaurants, which is on the beach, has a nightclub, spa area, etc ... The hotel offers all inclusive service where drinks come with meals, drinks until 02.00 hours and lots of other services. The ideal place for a relaxing holiday on the coast of Jamaica.
The Club Hotel Riu Ocho Rios in the Ocho Rios region is one of the last built by the chain. Keep in mind that in Jamaica they speak only English and its inhabitants do not know Spanish, so if you choose a Spanish hotel chain such as: Riu, Bahia Principe and Iberostar, they will most likely speak Spanish. It is a 5-star super-cool hotel on one of the best beaches with fine, white sand. This hotel is great as it has 856 fully-equipped rooms throughout the resort. It features 6 restaurants, bars, 2 pools with jacuzzi, spa, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and grocery stores, etc ... A real luxury in the Caribbean.
One of the hotels that I liked on my visit of Jamaica in 2007 was the hotel Sandals Dunn's River, which is very near waterfalls Dunn's River. It is a hotel on the first line of beach which most people would highlight , and it has a fabulous pool with a waterfall to give the place precisely its name, just at the foot from the beach. The truth is that of the hotels in which I was in Jamaica this me called attention first because of its service, since the brand Sandals cares about its image and although they had no idea how to speak Spanish they tried to explain the best they can in English so that visitors can understand. It has 6 restaurants and its 6 bars, all with the service of an All Inclusive. At present (2011) the hotel Sandals Dunn's River has changed owners and now is has become the hotel The Jewel Dunn's River Resort & Spa.
The Hotel Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort, was known as the old ex Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, but has changed its name. It is in a lovely valley, so the rooms can have ocean or views of the mountains, and the view is not bad as you can see impressive greenery and a dense forest. All rooms have air conditioning, bathroom with hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, safe, etc ... better than many 4 star hotels. The best of all Sandals hotels are their pools and entertainment, as they have a bar in the pool, jacuzzi, games done daily newspapers such as water basketball, volleyball, water polo and others, plus the pool area is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas that make the stay more bearable.
The four star Sandals Montego Bay Hotel is located in Montego Bay in the north of Jamaica, and is said to have the longest private beach on the whole island, covered with Balinese beds and umbrellas made with palm leaves. On the beach itself there is a catamaran that offers trips for hotel guests. The hotel was designed by Edward Durell Stone, one of the best American architects today, and makes the hotel the first designer hotel in Jamaica. There is the Bay Roc Villas located on the beach with direct access through a private terrace and luxuriously equipped with a fully stocked mini bar, Balinese shower, hot tub, bathrobes and other amenities. It also features different restaurants serving Jamaican, Italian, Japanese or seafood. I personally loved the good treatment of the staff at this hotel and especially its location on this wonderful private beach.
Come to the Reggae Hostel and discover great times. The smell from the taxi gives this place an amazing feel to it. I invite you to come enjoy it! This in uptown Kingston and is a fairly safe without risk. The receptionist is a German doctor who came here for three months, but so far has stayed for five.
During my stay in Jamaica in 2007 I stayed in the best hotels on the island in my to get to know the country well and so to be able to sell them better in Spain, and among the hotels that I stayed inwas the Half Moon Hotel. I can assure you today that it is one of the most luxurious hotels I have ever been to and I think it can claim to be the most luxurious hotel in Jamaica. It consists of a total of 398 rooms spread over different categories such as: deluxe, imperial, junior, royal and hibiscus, but the most impressive are the Royal Villas, they are small palaces with a lot of rooms (from 4-7 bedrooms) in which nothing is missing, all with private plunge pools and every luxury. This hotel is rated 5 stars deluxe with 160 acres of gardens and has almost everything, in fact the size of the complex is so big that they put small electric buggies golf type buggies to take their customers to the different parts of the complex. Although the hotel dates back to 1954, it was renovated in 2006, so in my case I could not see any faults and everything was great. For me the best thing was the private beach called Half Moon beach with more than a kilometer and a half of sand.
The Grand Lido Braco (Montego Bay, St James, Jamaica) is ranked among the top five hotels in Jamaica and in the top 20 hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas. At this hotel, all meals, drinks, activities and entertainment are included. It offers luxury accommodation, in-room dining, sumptuous cuisine, premium brand drinks in the bar, golf and tennis championships, sailing, snorkelling and diving, nightlife, and perfumed gardens. The fun moves along four streets of the village, where you can learn to dance local rhythms, old and new, and dinner is served under the stars.
We stayed in the Hotel Riu Negril. Accustomed to Punta Cana, Riviera Maya, the conclusion is that Jamaica feels less 'Caribbean'. The weather: it rained every day from two in the afternoon. The beaches are much better in Punta Cana the environment and the people much less animated, with an easygoing character, although the issue is tipping isn't as exaggerated as in Mexico. The worst thing is that the hotel is set apart, to go to the best beaches or Negril 7 miles away you have to go by taxi, the beach is cut on a point and you have to go down the road. The public beaches and all that remains outside the hotels are authentic rubbish tips. It is a very sad image. The weather, it rains every day and not just a little and then the sun comes out in typical Caribbean style. The it clouds over and pours endlessly into the night. The Good: There are nice places for excursions although the distances are great.

The Hedonism III hotel is one of the largest nudist hotels in Jamaica, as it is located on the [poi = 462301] Runaway Bay Beach [/ poi], but in part or piece nudist. This is a hotel where they have to go without because it is nudist resorts and it is also children under 18 are not allowed. Most people go naked around the resort, except in restaurants where the law requires them to be dressed to eat. Also to make it more original, they organize parties for singles, couples, costume as everyday is a specialty such as pajama day, day of Romans, etc ... The pools are nice and they have slides, even a pool with clear water and do not forget that all the awards the all-inclusive resort, so do not worry to take your wallet.
