Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, not only for its seaside location and its seaport's historical significance, but also for its attractive surroundings. You can see seals, penguins, and whales. It has great cultural activities and nightlife. You can climb to the top of Table Mountain by cable car to see the city from the air, or go to a jazz concert, or buy typical souvenirs in many of the waterfront stores. You can also visit the Botanical Gardens, try ostrich meat, go to a Godspell Mass, or travel to the end of the Cape of Good Hope. I recently stayed in one of the city's icons, the Table Bay Hotel. It has a unique and truly incredible staff. I recommend it if you are in Cape Town.

InterContinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers is located in one of the most importnat residential and business districts of the city. The hotel offers direct access to Sandton City Shopping Centre and is just minutes from the Apartheid Museum, the Hector Pietersen Museum and the stock exchange. The hotel organizes numerous excursions among which the daily Safari is really worth doing.
A typical very large and impersonal hotel but with a great location in the Johannesburg Sandton area. There´s also direct access to the mall (if you have no wish to go outside). The rooms are very large and comfortable and there´s a cafe, restaurant, and shops at your disposal. The breakfast is outstanding.
155 km north of Pretoria is a quiet lodge with a family atmosphere and a great space to see the big five. It also has a reptile house, a pool, a children's play room, a souvenir shop and a mini supermarket. Especially recommended are the safaris at dusk.
Get to know rugby with the Los Tordos club in Mendoza, Argentina. You'll have a great, relaxing time in the hotel! It is a beautiful hotel overlooking the entire capacity of the wine in South Africa, a little out of the way but veeeeery quiet with a lot of entertainment! very good breakfast and spacious rooms with comfortable beds.
Situation on the western slope of Table Mountain National Park, a few kilometers from Cape Town, is this wonderful hotel. It is the only building located within the National Park. Its strategic location give you one of the most breathtaking sunsets of Cape Town, with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lions Head. After a busy day visiting the many important spots in Cape Town, there´s nothing better than relaxing in one their Spa circuits while enjoying a massage and finishing the evening with a nice dinner at their excellent restaurant.
It is in the district of Arkadia, close to the Union Buildings, in thePretoria area. The hotel is constructed in a small shopping center with access to the street and the parking lot and mall. Within the commercial area there is a room with computers and internet access that is quite cheap (less than 1 euro an hour), so you can forget the wifi in the hotel. There are nice rooms, not any of luxury but enough for budget travelers , medium-low. It is 41 euros per night with breakfast included. The hotel parking is opposite but an area reserved for the hotel has vigilants 24 hours. It is a good value for money. I put a description I've found that is not far at all from reality: The hotel offers simple, good, clean and of average size rooms with AC, satellite TV, tea and coffee. All rooms have a seating area. The rooms are decorated with blue upholstery. The bathrooms are in good condition. The restaurant and bar is on the 1st floor and has breakfast, lunch and dinner. Downstairs you will find seats indoors and outdoors from which guests can order food and drink. The restaurant has a warm environment with wooden floors, chairs and lighting, typical of the '70s. The hotel is housed in a 9-story structure made of brick and concrete that is attached to the Arcadia shopping complex. Its design is typical of the structures in Pretoria in the 70s. The hotel has a bright lobby, which is medium-sized and has wooden floors and a comfortable seating area. The pictures are the buildings that could be seen from the room.
That's perfect. Clean, bright rooms. At least ours, which was a double, and overlooked the garden. Breakfast's included in the price, great kitchen for cooking. There's pool and fridge with cold beers, to spend the day. You can spend hours in the hammock in the garden. Super friendly owners. Ah. And if you're going to surf, is 100 meters from the Supertubes ... I would have stayed there for years ...

The Signita hotel chain is truly an experience. This one is located in the centre of Kruger National Park. The entire complex is divided into lodges; I stayed in the Signita lodge, where I could see the Subi and Sand Rivers. The cabins themselves are just amazing, with everything you could want from a private pool to a fireplace. The staff are very attentive; but unfortunately I didn't stay here very long because of the price - just two days. Nevertheless, it's definitely worthwhile. Everything is included: airport pick-up, safaris, jeep rent, food, etc.
This is a comfortable stay for a couple of days in Johannesburg if you're just passing through, as it is close to the airport. The price is acceptable (a garden, swimming pool, safe, etc.) and the owner is very friendly.
The Hermanus Luxury Apartments Ma (Hermanus - Western Cape - South Africa) is located in Hermanus, a small town about 60 miles south-west of Cape Town. The town has been built on the shores of Walker Bay near the point Southern South-Africa and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and cliffs. The hotel has a pool and parking.
I went to South Africa after the World Cup, and I was lucky enough to find several promotions, including one in the wonderful Cape Heritage Hotel. This is located in Heritage Square, a great gastronomic area of Cape Town. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade, so I stayed in the bridal suite. The breakfast is wonderful, beautifully served, and the staff are very, very nice. If I ever have the opportunity to go back to South Africa, I hope I can stay here again.
