Bucharest

Bucharest is the capital city of Romania. It has about 2 million people, 2.5 if you include the suburbs, and is a city that is growing quickly. It has two airports, one in the circular avenue around the city, the Baneasa, where low cost airlines arrive as Easyjet or Wizzair, and another further, Otopeni, which is about 20 miles north. It is a nice city with parks and gardens, but there is a lot of traffic, to visit you must count on the metro, feet, rent a bike, everything but the bus and the car because it is a nightmare. The heart of the city is not very big and on foot in a couple days you can see most of the sights.
