A historical perspective
The Museum of Chinese American History is the first museum in Southern California dedicated to the Chinese American experience, and the unique history of this group of people in the region. The museum shows the development of Chinese immigration, which began 150 years ago, with the first major Chinese settlement in Los Angeles being in the 1860's. In this museum you can see samples of portraits from different eras.
