Restaurant Le Cafe Regent

This is a classic Bordeaux cafe, a great place on the Place Gambetta, below the XVIII century historical building. They serve traditional food but with a modern presentation. Overall the cuisine of the region is served in large portions. Here you get a fair and adequate portion, with the best products. It is a little expensive but it´s worth it. It´s usually busy, the waiters are used to it and you shouldn´t expect much. There is a bar with a good selection of wines, and also a more formal place where you can eat. A starter and a main course costs 20 euros, but if you ask for the menu it´s more expensive.
