Soggiorno Pitti is a guesthouse opposite the Palazzo Pitti on the third floor of an old Tuscan building, where you can find other guesthouses. It is very well-located, and all the city's sights can be reached on foot. The Ponte Vecchio is just five minutes away. It's affordable - about 25 euros per person per day, but a bit more expensive at the weekend. There are some areas for watching TV, and the staff are very nice. Some rooms have views of the Palazzo while others overlook an interior courtyard. Each room is different and, although ours was inadequate in terms of decor (just look at the pictures with the combination of pink and blue), the bathroom was new and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable despite having rather dirty bedspreads. One thing to keep in mind is that the price does not include towels, so you have to bring them from home or pay a small surcharge. Breakfast isn't included, but it's not difficult to find great places for breakfast nearby and even supermarkets. Next door, there is a café that closes late.
Vivahotel Pitti Palace Al Ponte Vecchio is located next to the Ponte Vecchio and boasts a panoramic terrace on the top floor, where you can relax while enjoying a meal or a drink with views of the beautiful city of Florence. The building dates all the way back to 1200, and is in one of the most picturesque areas of medieval Florence, 100 metres from the Pitti Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. The hotel has a suite on the seventh floor with stunning views. In total, it has 73 rooms.
