Capilla Ntra. Ms. del Socorro

The Chapel of Our Lady of the Socorro (Capela de Nossa Senhora do Socorro) is Property of Public Interest and overlooks the river Ave, where there is a lookout with a good view . It's a very peculiar and small chapel as it is topped with a semicircular dome and all inside walls are covered with tile panels with scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. These date from the 18th century, while the chapel was commissioned in the 17th century by Gaspar Manuel.
