Excursion from Lucerne to Mount Pilatus

1 review of Excursion from Lucerne to Mount Pilatus

An amazing site to see

The Pilatus rises 2132 meters above the city of Lucerne. It is the symbol of the region. From Lucerne, you can take a complete trip that combines a boat trip of one and a half hours, climb up to Pilatus on a cog railway, and cable car down (if there's no wind).

The second-class ticket costs 96 francs (half if you're moving around the country with the Swiss Card). The views from the top are simply breathtaking. You can see the entirety of the lake of the Four Cantons. In addition, the train that carries you up the mountain is the steepest in the world.
