A local favorite
Huck's is a local favorite hot spot for fried catfish. It's so popular, that many people travel from Dallas to experience the crispy, flaky fish. The building is just off highway 75, although you can't see it from the road. It is decorated with plenty of trinkets to keep you entertained while you wait. Expect about a 20 to 45 minute wait especially if you are coming on a weekend during prime dining hours, and bring your appetite! They have trivia cards on the table to keep you entertained while you wait for your meal.
In addition to catfish, they also have shrimp, crab, and salmon dishes. There is also a kids menu to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. They serve soft drinks, tea, and coffee and are smoke free. This is a great place to bring the family.
