Amazing Catfish, low prices!
Mr. Whiskers is one of the best catfish restaurants in the area. It's a local contender with Huck's Catfish, another popular catfish eatery. It is a little bit off of the beaten path, but well worth the trip. When you come in, seating is first-come, first-serve so if you see an open table go ahead and sit down. Be sure that the previous occupants are not just at the buffet, though! The staff is wonderful and attentive. This is a family atmosphere with all-you-can-eat menu options for roughly $13, and includes sides, fries, and hushpuppies. Sides are served buffet style and come with every meal. They are not always the same, so Mr. Whiskers gets a lot of repeat customers. The hushpuppies have diced jalapenos in them which gives them a reasonable kick. They also have chicken, shrimp and a burgers available.
