Not a lighthouse at all
The Glasgow Lighthouse isn't a lighthouse at all ... of course, it wouldn't make any sense to have a lighthouse in the city center! It is located in a very narrow street, the Mitchell Street, a short walk from Buchanan Street. You have to look up to see it because the road is so narrow. The Glasgow Herald newspaper once had its headquarters here, but today it houses temporary exhibitions. It is an example of the work of Mackintosh, one of Scotland's best architects.
