Really interesting

It's really interesting and I loved it, but not everyone will. Normally, the regular visit to the famous Tower Bridge, London includes a climb up between the 2 towers and a museum exhibition showing the steam engines that used to lift the bridge. But we visited the part that still makes the bridge rise. First we were in a small cabin with rudders, from which bridge openings are handled. With 24 hours notice boats can ask, without any charge, to lift the bridge. Then down to the machine room itself, the bridge had opened to let a boat pass so it still smelled of oil and the engines were hot. But most impressive is the great hall of the counterweight.
