Male Fish Market

The name comes from the Sanskrit Male (Mahaalay) and means "big house", even though it is a small island, and even though the 2004 Tsunami flooded almost one third of the island, it really does have a lot to see. It has all the most important services like banks, ATMs, souvenir shops, and a market. The market is very interesting to visit, the main commodity is the fishing boats, that capture tuna.
