Jardines de Mendez Nunez

7 reviews of Jardines de Mendez Nunez

Most beautiful parks in the city

The Jardines de Mendez Nunez are pleasant gardens in the center of A Coruña (next to the Marina and not far from the Teatro Colon) that are ideal for relaxing walks. This are was once a sandy seaside, but today it's one of the most beautiful parks in the city and full of important modernist buildings like the Kiosko Alfonso and the striking Curros Enriquez statue.

In the heart of the city

Mendez Nunez Gardens is in A Coruña, Spain and arise out of the demolition of the old walls. They are located in the heart of the city designed by the engineer Celedonio Uribe. The gardens feature a central walkway surrounded by palm trees and trees of different kinds, where there is La Terraza Alfonso kiosk and a botanical garden with a pond for goldfish where there is The Watchtower.
