Monumento Asia África

Para conmemorar el 60 aniversario de la reunión de Bangung, el actual presidente indonesio inauguró un monumento a la solidaridad entre los pueblos de Asia y África a poco más de 100 metros de la sede de la conferencia, edificio museo que acogió la primera en 1955 y la segunda en 2015. En esta ocasión con la presencia de 16 países observadores provenientes sobre todo de América y varias organizaciones internacionales, que no estuvieron presentes en la primera. Desertaron de esta segunda edición Pakistán y Sri Lanka (Ceilán) dos de los promotores de la primera, aunque se contó con la presencia de otros países asiáticos como China y las repúblicas de Asia Central, en su día pertenecientes a la extinta URSS, que no fueron invitadas en 1955. Todos los países participantes en ambas ediciones están presentes en el muro, incluidos los desertores y en uno de los lados hay una inscripción de Sukarno, el primer presidente indonesio tras la independencia, que dice: "Let a new Asia and new Africa be born" (Dejar que nazca una nueva Asia y una nueva África).
