I recommend this trip if you're in the Acanceh, you'll have a great time. You should visit the majestic church in honour of the Virgin of the Nativity, as well as the archaeological area next door and behind the chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Also, you should visit the municipal market and try the region's traditional sweets and food sold there, made by Yucatan hands. And, I suggest you visit between November and December during the celebration of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Entry for guild members is from 6 pm onward daily. The celebration ends on December 12 with a grand procession in the main streets of the town.
