Friends Restaurant

From the same company that owns the OR2K, this restaurant is where you will undoubtedly find the best meat in Nepal. The restaurant is on Mandala Street, one of the busiest streets of Thamel in Kathmandu. The food is a mix of Israeli and American cuisine, and you can find anything from hummus, to kebabs, or beef burger. The Tournedos/ skewer is highly recommended as the tender and juicy meat is imported from Australia, and is very well presented. The visitors to the restaurant are both foreign and Nepali, the menu is varied, and has an acceptable wine list, but the best thing in general is the ice cold Nepalese beer.
