Wonderful views

Located in the Berchtesgaden National Park, you'll find views that are nothing short of wonderful. From here, at the viewpoint of Mount Jenner, you can see the incredible scenery. To reach this viewpoint , you have to climb the mountain via its cable car, then take a steep but short walk of about 15-20 minutes until the top of Jenner. They say the Koenigssee is one of the few lakes (perhaps the only) shaped like a fjord in central Europe and the truth is that, from this viewpoint, one can admire the lake in all its glory. If the weather permits, you can see the red domes of the Monastery of St.

Bartholomew, and boats across the lake ,or the blue green waters.

Jenner está en Alemania justo al lado de la frontera con Austria. Desde Salzburgo se puede ir sin problema en media hora. La llegada hasta el pueblo es muy bonita, dejas el coche y ves las casas que llegan hasta el lago Konigssee, muy bonito también. Después DEBES de coger el Jennerbahn, que es el teleférico que te sube hasta Jenner. Una vez te bajas del teleférico te espera una pequeña subida que va por detrás de la montaña, lo que hace que la genial vista del lago no se vea hasta el final. Una vez llegas es impresionante, la foto habla por si sola pero como siempre nada comparable con verlo allí en directo.
