Magic of travelling
This was our trip to southern Morocco for New Year 2010. Zagora doesn't have the bustle and animation of other major Moroccan cities, but it's full of charm and surrounded by desert. We entered the Sahara desert at its best. Zagora is known as the gateway to the desert. It's the starting point of the ancient camel caravan that started from Morocco to Timbuktu and crossed the desert. We couldn't help but take a photo in front of the traditional poster that Berlanga popularized in Spain, "Tombouctou 52 jours". 52 days on a camel, of course! Which is perhaps the most photographed thing in these parts, after the desert dunes.
