Great environment, delicious food, a very warm welcome ... in short, a place not to be missed! We go as often as we can. Canadian restaurants aren't very common, and this one is just great. The decor is really original, with a canoe just above the tables, and it even extends to the bathrooms! The highlight of the kitchen is the "Trapper": grilled bison ribs with caramelised maple syrup, slices of smoked pork and barbecue sauce, Canadian potatoes, and chive sauce. This is my favourite dish, and I have it almost every time. They also do delicious salmon in a variety of styles. And for desserts ... well, you have to have the Quebec pancakes, with maple syrup and blueberry jam!
En route to Colmar, we had a stopover in Metz and as we left very early, we took the opportunity to have a snack in the first place we found. Luckily, it was the brewery-restaurant ABC. Good choice! I can't give much detail on the menu, because we didn't stay long. The breakfast was the most significant and the position of the wonderful brewery. Sit yourself on the terrace, in the sun, and you'll get, in addition to being particularly cozy, have a beautiful view of Metz railway station, which is an exceptional building.
