Right in the heart of the Saint-Clément-de-ballenas village and in full view of Ile de Ré, Le Chat Botte is one of the oldest restaurants in the Poitou-Charentes archipelago. It has a large dining area and a beautiful view of the garden. This restaurant is a great place to discover tasty local cuisine. The dishes I would recommend trying are the seafood, oysters accompanied by a good Pinau, roasted turbot or simply a stick of butter with a piece of bread. Yummy! Here, in every detail you will discover the typical flavors of the Atlantic region of France.
The cuisine in this restaurant is based on whatever products are brought in directly from the sea. The Le Serghi Restaurant is one of the most highly recommended places in the Ile de Ré. It's in the Saint-Martin de Re village and this place has become a stop where you can try delicious snacks and finest traditional cuisine of Poitou-Charentes. It really is worth trying some of the dishes the chef Joachim Lecarpentier.
Thank God you can eat well on the Isle of Ré. It's delicate and tasty, and best of all, it's fresh from the sea. Come to La Cabine de Bain restaurant and allow yourself to feast on tasty seafood you'll remember forever. This will be one of your best trips! Among the most outstanding dishes, I recommend the carpaccio with vegetables, marinated monkfish ceviche, oysters on the island of Ré, seaweed pesto, shrimp and melon salad with tiger shrimp. Here you can enjoy the subtle blend of traditional and creative food in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Atalante Restaurant is always a good excuse for returning to the Isle of Ré, mainly because it is located in a beautiful spa that is the envy of the entire coastline of Poitou-Charentes. From appetizers to desserts, everything here is a festival of tastes where fish and seafood dishes reign supreme. Among the regional and local specialties available include dishes such as: Pineau des fleur de sel, Surgères butter, asparagus, various salads, turbot in fried pineapple sauce, fried prawns with scallops sauteed with artichokes, monkfish tartare, or smoked salmon. Choose what you fancy!
This small restaurant in Sainte-Marie de Ré was something we discovered on our journey through the Ile de Ré. Its small size made us stop and take notice because it really stood out from the rest of the restaurants in Poitou-Charentes. The fish are in the form of delicious sauce cooked with salted butter and seafood of all sizes and with a freshness that's second to none. The place has real charm, especially if you want something more than the typical tourist restaurant. The quality of the food is quite good and the price is not bad. Pepette Chai restaurant is a treasure for you to find!
