It was the month of the artichoke and it was a wonderful experience, firstly we went tasting in the village and then we had the menu at the Neptuno Paseo Marítimo restaurant, with stunning presentation and a good deal. Some items from the menu were: Entertainments Neptuno, Warm salad of artichokes with goat cheese and quail drumstick marinated in nuts, artichokes sautéed with red prawns, scallop in its shell and shrimp stuffed artichoke gratin, crispy sausage artichokes on their pilpil four cheese, sorbet of pineapple and rum, supreme pinxo of hake en papillote with artichokes or lamb shoulder recental baked with artichokes and fried potatoes, artichoke delight to quince Mascarpone cheese foam. This place has a nice terrace but is quite small, so booking is advisable. It is not as formal as the Parador's restaurant, but is good value for money. We had the citrus steamed mussels which were spectacular and the rice with cod roe was great. Highly recommended.
This restaurant has a terrace overlooking the harbor which is lovely. The food is good, as is the value for money. We had a tapas menu for 15 euros per head including a drink and fantastic homemade desserts. We were also invited to do some shots. Recommended.
An incredible restaurante because of its excellent facilities, large windows with amazing sea views, terrace, gardens, great personal service and fine Mediterranean cuisine. The chef Mr. Chuanet is just charming :-)
