The city of Jaén has several areas to go out for beers, tapas and pub-crawling. The streets around the cathedral, the San Ildefonso and around the Granary Square, are lit at sunset and give way to the people who will be enjoying some drinks at night. The taverns are filled. From the famous "The Sparrow" tavern, going all the way up through many others that offer refreshments, beers, tapas and cocktails. This is the perfect way to spend your day after a day of sightseeing in Jaen.
To add to it, recently the restaurant has expanded with a dining annex, also very beautiful as the rest of the premises, and where culinary improves, with the advantage of reserve meals for groups, gastronomic, etc. ... recently it has been granted the distinction of Repsol and Michelin .. if you go to Ubeda don´t forget to stop by this place with a beautiful setting. Excellent value for money.
The restaurant at the Jaen lookout point has a certain charm about it that’s different from the rest of the building. The arches and the lamps make sure the atmosphere is exquisite, consistent with the food they offer on their menu. The gastronomy you’ll find here is traditional, but with innovative presentations.
In addition to the classic menu, there are certain set menus and “fast” dishes, but everything is great. The service is A+.
Excellent cuisine you can enjoy at this small restaurant in the old town of Ubeda. Traditional cuisine that surprises both in taste and presentation. Wine menu where you can find good wines at reasonable prices. Professional service, good treatment for attention. Desserts should not be missed.
I have spent this past weekend in Baeza with some friends and we discovered the Tavern Archdeacon and Ramon, everything was great, all good products, good wine quality - price along this same line, a good discovery, all three nights we went there for dinner as our fixed location, at 9 at night we were at the door to get a table it is a small place, few tables and is always filled. It's a tavern for lunch or dinner based tapas, all rations oeuvres and abundant, do not want to highlight any, all good and putting the lid with each drink, Ramón is very effective, fast and collaborator, somewhere you remains in the memory to return. I advise anyone not to leave without knowing Baeza.
In the area of the arcades of the Plaza of the Constitution of Baeza we stumbled upon this great restaurant. We liked it mainly because of the clientele that were in there (one of the clues to identify them in this case is that in their hand they had the typical glass with snails ...), the next were filled with tourists, it was very "touristy", etc.. They offer an excellent value menu and excellent service.
Near Plaza Primero De Mayo you'll find this beautiful restaurant. Modern kitchen, elaborate and good value. If I go back to visit Ubeda, it's more than likely I'll come back to Zeitoun. The sticky rice with shellfish is delicious, and the lamb chops, and mojito dessert ... A very interesting menu, I wanted to try everything! There are of course tasting menus to help you decide.
This inn offers a wide variety of products and a variety of wines. It specializes in grilled meat and typical dishes of the land (the menu is diverse). The restaurant is also distinctive: it is the only place in the area offering stone Galician beef, served with different types of salts and it is exquisite.
Local food in the historic heart of Ubeda which is good value for money. It's not the cheapest but you'll leave happy as the food is good and the treatment equally so. The set menu was 16€. The site is recommended by the Routard guide-Globetrotter in 2009.
The Taberna El Pájaro Restaurant is certainly one of the best places to eat that I've found in Baeza, compared to the five most famous ones from all of the travel guides. The food here is of excellent quality, but it's not cheap. Good service. Professional. I recommend it to everyone.
If your visiting Úbeda, I recommend a stop at Matins, we really liked the place. I had read about it and the visit was a success. It had good food, it was well presented, good prices, and good treatment by the staff, We'll come back for sure.
La Cueva de Juan Pedro Restaurant is in Cazorla. It has the best services for their clients. The restaurant offers its visitors the best traditional meals and has some of the best chefs that are specialized so that you enjoy each and every flavor. The restaurant has an excellent wine cellar with all kinds of wines that are kept at the ideal temperature, as well as an extensive menu that offers all kinds of desserts to end the evening.
Behind the Savior and in the historic center of Ubeda, you will find this modern cafeteria where they make a great cappuccino, or you can have a drink on their lovely terrace. Since such facilities are scarce in the area, I recommend it, that way you get to appreciate the beautiful views around.
