Harbors in Ashdod
Port of Ashdod
(2)
The city of Ashdod is found in the Southern District of Israel. In the last decade it has grown dynamically, after receiving more new immigrants than any other city in Israel. About 70,000 newcomers, mostly from the former Soviet Union, have increased the population of the city by more than 220,000 inhabitants. The new part of Ashdod was established in 1956 (and received municipal status 12 years later) and is the second deepest harbour in Israel, after Haifa. Ideally located to serve Jerusalem, 66 kilometres east, and Tel Aviv, 40 kilometres north, it's about to surpass Haifa in size. It serves 46% of the country's maritime cargo.

Harbors in Jaffa
Yafo Port
(2)
Going to Jaffa is to travel in the moment. Despite being highly conservative, it is easy to let your imagination run wild and see old ships coming and unloading in port. Imagination and coffee with good views. Everything you need to have a good time.
