It is one of the best known department stores in the world specializing in books, technology, music and movies. There's everything from the latest novels to those that would be difficult to get in conventional stores. For instance, there's an impressive book collection, plus they'll bring any book you ask for if they don't have in store. There's the possibility to get a membership card that offers discounts and promotions on purchases and preferential access to promotions. The shop Sevilla is smaller than, say, the one Callao,Madrid, but it's not a problem because of the quality of service and the ability to order things that are not in the store. IT is very well located so there's almost no excuse to go shopping for yourself or for souvenirs or any other reason. The only fault I have is that the store does not have a newspaper stand, something there is in FNAC Callao in Madrid, where you could find all kinds of foreign publications. It's a shame but it's still worth going.
The house of books ONLINE!
I use this website to locate books which are difficuly to find. By doing this you avoid the long queues and the probable disappointment of being told they do not have it and you've had a wasted trip. My last purchase was a Jeffrey Archer book, titled Kane & Abel. It's best to buy a couple of books because if the amount exceeds 19 euros, you get free shipping. Also worth mentioning is that the "Casa del Libro" has promotions and discounts available only online, but be careful - there are many spams, so I recommend to use a secure webpage and with good deals such as memimo.es
