Brussels is the capital of Europe, and has a theme park where you can see a representation of the most significant buildings and monuments of all the countries that make up the EU. It is an open-air museum, and the monuments are 1:25 scale models with all kinds of details, and often include small dolls, trains and moving cars. This place has got a super-cool look, in addition to being photogenic, since the Atomium is its backdrop.
Paradisio is a park where you can see a birds of prey show that lasts about 30 minutes. There are hawks, eagles, vultures and other large birds in flight only a few centimeters from the audience. This impressive display of precision from the birds, accompanied by pleasant music and a touch of humor, made me regret not having wings.
The Parc De Vossemeren is in Flemish Belgium near Lommel where you can rest and commune with nature. Its unique feature is the Discovery Bay which consists of a treasure hunt (crossing a river on planks, crossing waterfalls, etc.). It was like being in The Goonies, if you've seen it. Besides cycling, walking, seeing farm animals, you can do more activities. It is a green space full of fresh air. There is also a large lake across a wooden bridge and several shops and restaurants. There is a small supermarket where you can find Belgian and Dutch products. And at night, if you want, you can watch TV VOST in front of the fire.
