The Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo is the full name of the cathedral of the constitutional capital of Bolivia. It was built by Fray Diego de Porres during the times of the Spanish Viceroy Toledo. It was rebuilt in 1770 by Bishop Ramon de Grassy, and during the time of Marshal Andrés de Santa Cruz (1838), the old church was replaced by a new eclectic style church. This new church was designed by French architect Philippe Bestres. In the cathedral the most important things are its wooden vaults and the painted decoration over them.

The Amboró National Park is one of the most beautiful in Bolivia, it is perfect for watching birds, butterflies and frogs, having rivers, waterfalls, forests of ferns and other wonders of nature. It is normally reached from the town of Samaipata. The Park is located in the "elbow of the Andes" and is formed by sandstone mountains, which have been eroded by the high level of rainfall in the region. The heat and high humidity are constant elements in the park, there are abundant butterflies with magical colors. Bromeliads are also common in the Park, and the park in general is covered with thick and varied vegetation, except in areas which have been deforested for agricultural purposes. Some areas of the Park are almost inaccessible places, where streams have formed narrow, deep canyons where now there is several feet of water. There is also a large bamboo area. In some areas of the forest, giant ferns grow besides cedar and maras. The kite is one of the 700 species of resident and migratory birds that inhabit this vast park which extends over an area of 442,500 hectares.

The Fuerte de Samaipata is an archaeological site, located 3 kilometers from Samaipata, situated at an altitude of 1,950 meters above sea level. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, and is believed to be the work of the Guarani culture. It is popularly called "The Fort", as it is on the top of a hill. Apparently it was a ceremonial centre, and its position also allowed it to have an astronomical use. After the Guarani times the site was occupied by the Incas, at the time of their maximum expansion. El Fuerte de Samaipata is divided into two sections, the first consisting of a sculptured rock 250 meters long and 60 meters wide with an area of1.2 hectares, making it the largest petroglyph in the world, situated on a hill at 1,950 meters above sea level . The second section consists of an administrative and residential area, located to the south of the big carved rock.
The place which you can see below in the photos is a cultural place where many people go to rest watching their children distracted. You can also play chess, the most important thing is to see the cathedaral which is located in the square of my city. The place I'll describe is a very relaxing atmosphere where you can go with family. With friends, with family, with children, more than anything is a very nice place where there are tables where you can play chess with friends. When I calm down I go around and relax watching the passing people and eating popcorn.

The Shelter Home of Hope is an orphanage in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Home to 36 children, victims of physical and psychological abuse, sexual abuse or abandonment or orphanhood. 2013 Group grants 20 scholarships for schooling in Refuge of Hope, which is 7200 Euros per year, covering one third of the annual budget of the orphanage. In August 2011, the 2013 Group representatives visited, met each of the 36 children and tried different issues with the management team of Home: current expenses of the center, the organization of the orphanage, the professional support provided to them and the future prospects for both the children and the school itself.
In the main square, actually, the only square in Samaipata, there is a sundial that indicates the time with absolute accuracy. This colonial-style town, with its narrow streets, and a very calm and relaxed atmosphere, broken only by the traffic travelling between Santa Cruz de la Sierra, 120 km away, and Cochabamba, about 450 kilometers away.
