Tulsa is the second largest city right in the middle of the US state of Oklahoma. Bathed by the Arkansas River and located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in northeastern Oklahoma, Tulsa was nicknamed the oil capital of the world, playing a vital role as one of the most important hubs of the American oil industry.
