Localiza-se na Vieux-Quebec (centro histórico), próximo ao Hôtel de Ville.
A catedral foi inaugurada em 1804, e sua construção foi ordenada pelo rei George III da Inglaterra. Em estilo de arquitetura palladiana, a igreja e sua torre central foram por anos o edifício mais alto da cidade. O seu projeto foi inspirado na igreja londrina de St. Martin-in-the-Fields, mas mais simplificado.
A igreja tem serviços diários e também eventos musicais frequentes, principalmente com corais. Uma coleção de artefatos de prata doada pelo rei da Inglaterra na ocasião da abertura da igreja pode ser vista em uma pequena exposição, e também é utilizada nas missas dominicais.
Três projetos de extensão são seguidos pela catedral com os objetivos de ajudar refugiados, pessoas que passam fome em Quebec, e jovens em Burundi.
It is located in Vieux-Quebec (historic center), prximo to the Ville Htel. The cathedral was inaugurated in 1804, and its construction was ordered by King George III of England. Style of Palladian architecture, the church and its central tower were for years the tallest building of the city. Its design was inspired by the London church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, but more simplified. The church has services dailies and also frequent musical events, mainly corals. A collection of silver artifacts donated by the King of England on the occasion of the opening of the church can be seen in a small exhibition, and also used in Sunday Masses. Three large projects are followed by the cathedral with the objectives of helping refugees, hungry people in Quebec, and young people in Burundi.
