Pennyghael (Mull Island)

2 reviews of Pennyghael (Mull Island)

In the sky and the clouds

On our way to the Holy Island of Scotland, Iona, between Craignure and Fionphort, we had to go through Pennygael. There´s a narrow road there that seems to get lost in the infinity that melts into the mountains and where you feel you´re getting losing yourself in the sky and the clouds. It´s a curious experience. In that area, the wind is the owner and the driver of the landscape. The landscape is completely wild, not unlike the Isle of Mull. Any route you take there is an unusual one that is worth your time.

Absolutely stunning and recommendable for a weekend off.

Excellent
