San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles

Textile art transcends the cultural, ethnic, age and gender and covers traditional boundaries, as well as contemporary forms. The museum has works of all artists working with textiles, filling the void left by larger institutions with a narrower view. Its exhibitions and programs are to promote the value of textiles and their role in cultural traditions and historical documents.
