Davis

This place is hard to imagine. And if possible, to experience it. You enter the room, but not before spending a few moments contemplating the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario, standing upright in what were once silos to store grain, and is almost attached to the restaurant. You reach Davis by dodging diners ve decided to take advantage of the breeze coming from the contiguous Parana River and shelter from the sun under large umbrellas. In the living room, there is wood everywhere that gives it an overwhelming warmth where diners can enjoy a menu of international cuisine and taste full-bodied red wines, like the Sirah from Callia's winery. Through the large windows facing the river huge ships under different flagscan be seen, which circulate with thousands of tons of corn or soy that were loaded at the Port of Rosario. The microclimate and the service provided by the waiters are unrivalled. If you go to Argentina, visit Rosario and let yourself go with the excesses of a good dessert at Davis.

Vip Rosario

This bar, which was the first Irish bar in Rosario, has become one of the most popular places in the area due to its excellent location and long hours. The meals are the usual for any American bar: pizzas, pies, snacks, salads of various kinds, schnitzel, potato chips, hot and cold sandwiches in regular or pita bread, hot dogs, and the ever classic beer and chips, olives and peanuts . At noon on sunny days, the terraces are always full and it's hard to find place outside. This very well set up and what more striking are the gorgeous orange and pink begonias that cover everything. You can imagine that when I went, around 11 am, I found a few people having coffee inside, the maid cleaning the glass, and the gardener watering the plants. The rest public usually gets there around 1 in the afternoon or after that time. There is a WI-Fi area and AC. It's open Sunday to Thursday: From 7:00 to 1:00. Fridays and Saturdays: 7:00 to 3:00

Newport Cafe

This is my message to Silvia Campos, I am the holder of Newport Coffee Bar of Cordoba and Maipu. First I'd like to express my apologies for the care they received. It was not at all our style and much less our spirit. Second, I would like to invite her to my business so that she can convey to me or my managers what happened in this situation so that we can find a solution to the issue and obviously so this does not happen again. Thank you very much and my apologies.

Paseo Mayor

This restaurant/bar at 26 Galeria Paseo Peatonal is the perfect spot to relax in the morning or afternoon, or meet with friends for a birthday celebration. It's always jammed with people, both inside and out on the terrace, so you'll often have to wait to get to a table. I love coming here for a coffee to start my day. Ask me if I like coffee? My answer will always be yes, I love it - hot or cold, I don't care, it's the perfect way to start your day and end your meal.

La Buena Medida

I already left a comment, but I have added another, moved by the images. A place with more than 50 years of history, a place frequented by students and intellectuals. Well known for its huge schnitzel sandwiches, the "Milanese shoes," and coffees with milk, wine jugs and simple coffee are alternated depending on the time of day and the parishioner. Giving a break from the street activity, this locale served as a refuge for many "Rosarinos" for its good service and affordable prices. Just inside, the always up-to-date prices are displayed on cardboard. It was my downtown hangout during the 60's and 70's, times of political turmoil. Because of its large windows and its strategic location on a corner, you could see the street and the people talking and arguing animatedly about current issues. Politics, philosophy, football are not lacking from the menu. In short, there is much that I could write about, but I think I've given you an idea about what is for many Rosarinos like myself still standing in the bar The Good Measure, that at some point we may lose and it will threaten to close its doors.

A landmark of the city, it was about to fall under the ax, but an architect recovered and rejuvenated it, so that tourists could get to see it. Personalities like the late "negro" Fontanarrosa, the creator of Inodoro Pereyra, Boogui "the oily", or Joan Manuel Serrat, among others. It is located one block away from the apartment where "Che Guevara" lived.

Billy Lomito - Laprida

The first Billy Lomito store opened in 1961 and introduced a new concept in Rosario: fast food with gourmet quality and local flavors. The menu is varied, light and vegetarian, with soy patties, cheese, vegetables, and a variety of options. I recommend the skinless sausage with chimichurri sauce, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato in French bread, served with fries and soda. They have delivery system with their own phone: 54 (341) 4473000

Verde Que Te Quiero Verde

After climbing the stairs next to the market, you reach Verde Que Te Quiero Verde, a strange little restaurant. It's a bright, calm space with pure white walls, tables and chairs. It's a vegeterian restaurant and the food is very healthy, natural, simple and tasty. The ingredients used are top-quality and they serve freshly-baked bread prepared on-site every day. The menu has tempting offerings like grilled eggplant with roquefort cheese, brown rice and wok-sauteed vegetables, or homemade wholegrain pasta. The desserts are also well worth trying, and the whole meal is accompanied by flavored waters or select wines. The service is great and the soundtrack in the restaurant is really nice. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on Saturdays. It's open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Payment: Cash. All credit and debit cards accepted.

On Saturday night, at the end of two weeks of festivities, a couple of friends and I went to have some roast lamb or goat. One of them smokes, so we took a table outside, and luckily, the weather was good. We had our meat with a salad that had just about everything you could ask for ... lettuce, tomato, rocket, radishes, peppers, watercress, boiled eggs, grated carrot, and onion. The only thing it was lacking were potatoes. We had Santa Julia Cabernet Sauvignon, water, and dessert (ice creams and a bonbon). The restaurant is decorated with images of horses, and in a corner, you can see an old jar of milk which used to be used on farms not too long ago. The executive menu, with different options, is served Monday through Friday at noon. We paid 8.65 each (including a tip), and they accept credit cards. They have spaces for special events, wifi, and a TV where you can watch big football matches.

La Parrillita de Don Alberto

I'm from Piura, Peru, and in 1981 I visited Rosario thanks to an invitation from my grandmother, Benefrida, and my unce and auntie, Juan and Chiquita ve live in this beautiful city. We ate several times in La Parrillita de Don Alberto, which at that time was called La Parrilla Norte. Their food is delicious, their attention is most personalized, not to mention the desserts that seem homemade. I just hope to return one day with my family so that they can try it and enjoy as much as I did when I was a college student. Regards, Sylvia Vasquez Garcia

Los Jardines de Hildegarda

After visiting the exhibition of Flavia Ceravolo in the entrance hall of this anything but classic or tasteless restaurant, we agreed on the multicolored elevator, crossed the living room filled with tables and chairs of various colors, the salamander, fireplace and small winery, headed to the terrace looking out over the river and had a seat there under an umbrella. The bright sunny day, the amazing place, made me so enthusiastic to photograph everything that I only took a photo of the fried calamari dish and completely forgot the empanadas, grilled vogue with fries and the dessert plate with tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and cheese cake, all of which were picture perfect. The place deserved it, oh did it deserve it, when we opened the menu we found a big title that read "WE ARE LEGEND" and we read the text transcribed below: "Hildegarde, the daughter and tireless companion of the legendary archer William Tell, ve according to the ladies of the neighborhood had a "nasty attitude", disbelieving of his ruler and indignant of his unique speech (not sure if heroic), but asked passionately to debate about the rationality of the world and life systems. The sovereign wielding a divine power given to him ve knows that God wanted to break this unholy spirit forcing the keeper to shoot an apple off the head of his descendent. Hitting the apple with master logic, GT was exonerated avoiding being institutionalized in the state hospital. This is a story of the rationality of the world that sometimes truncated as a legend returns to us ". Walking to the back deck we came across a larger space with more tables, umbrellas and sun chairs and a bar that offered you pineapple, peach, banana and multi-fruit smoothies for 3 € each & strawberry, peach or pineapple daiquiris for 4.17 € each. The prices were super reasonable, so much so that between three of us including wine, mineral water and a cola drink we paid a total of 25 €.
